Determining Your Lucky Numbers

Determining your lucky numbers is easy! It's just a matter of adding up the numbers on your birth date or the equivalent numbers of the letters of your name.

Your primary number, also known as your Life Path Number, is the sum of the numbers in your birth. For example, if you were born on March 4, 1977:

  • add the month, day, and year of your birth: 3 (since March is the third month of the year) + 4 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 7 = 31
  • if the sum is more than one digit, add together the individual digits. Using our above example, 3 + 1 = 4. Your Primary Number is 4.
  • however, if the sum of the numbers of your birth is equal to 11 and 22 you don't need to add 1 + 1 or 2 + 2. Many believe that 11 and 22 are Master Numbers.

Another significant number in your life is your secondary number or your Destiny Number. This number is the sum of the value of the letters in your full name. For example, if you are John Doe:

  • since J is the 10th letter in the alphabet, 1 + 0 = 1
  • since O is the 15th letter in the alphabet, 1 + 5 = 6
  • since N is the 14th letter in the alphabet, 1 + 4 = 5
  • your equation is : 1 (J) + 6 (O) + 8 (H) + 5 (N) + 4 (D) + 6 (O) + 5 (E) = 35
  • 3 + 5 = 8. Your Secondary Number is 8.

Some numerologists only take the number equivalent of the vowels in your name. This is referred to as your Motivation Number. For example, let's use John Doe again:

  • 6 (O) + 6 (O) + 5 (E) = 17
  • 1 + 7 = 8. Your Motivation Number is 8.

But how does these numbers relate to choosing winning lottery numbers?

You can use your primary, secondary and motivation numbers with other numbers to complete a lotto combination.

Using the above example, John Doe, whose birth date was on March 4, 1977 can pick the numbers 4 and 8 along with four other numbers in a Pick 6 lotto game.

He can also use several permutations of the number 4 (his primary number) when playing Lotto. For example, 31 or 13 (3 + 1 and 1 + 3 = 4), 22 (2 + 2 = 4)

Another common way of using your primary number is to simply pick the day, month, and year. In John Doe's case, (March 4, 1977) 3, 4 and 24 (1 + 9 + 7 + 7).
